Platform purpose
PotentELL is intended to support teachers and multilingual learners with educational tools, practice resources, and classroom-ready workflows.
Use expectations
Users should use the platform lawfully and responsibly, especially when working with classroom content, shared materials, and account access.
Content Rights and Acceptable Use
1. Your responsibility for submitted materials
You are responsible for all files, images, slides, documents, reading passages, text, logos, and other materials you submit, select, or authorize PotentELL to access ("Submitted Materials").
You may use PotentELL only when you own the necessary rights or are otherwise legally authorized to submit the materials and perform the requested operations. Authorization may arise from permission, a license, public-domain status, or an applicable legal exception. Any authorization must cover your particular use, including processing by PotentELL and its service providers where required.
2. Prohibited uses
You must not use PotentELL in a manner that infringes another party’s copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights, or violates applicable license terms. This includes unauthorized reproduction, translation, simplification, adaptation, distribution, publication, or commercial exploitation of protected materials.
You must not use Submitted Materials or generated results to falsely imply affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from a rights holder. You must not remove or obscure copyright notices, attribution, trademark notices, or other rights information where doing so would violate applicable law or license terms.
3. Educational use and purchased resources
Use in a classroom or for an educational purpose does not automatically authorize copying, translation, adaptation, or sharing. Purchasing a book, worksheet, subscription, downloadable resource, or other material does not necessarily grant these rights.
You are responsible for evaluating applicable permissions, license restrictions, and legal exceptions, including any limits on submitting materials to third-party processing services.
4. Ownership and processing authorization
As between you and PotentELL, you retain any rights you hold in Submitted Materials. Submitting materials does not transfer their ownership to PotentELL.
To the extent you hold the necessary rights, you authorize PotentELL and its processing providers to access, reproduce, extract text from, translate, simplify, and otherwise process Submitted Materials solely as necessary to perform the operations you request and deliver the results, consistent with our Privacy Policy. This authorization does not grant permission for unrelated use of the materials.
5. Generated results
OCR, translation, simplification, or other processing does not eliminate intellectual-property rights in the source material or grant you new rights to use it. Generated results may remain subject to the source material’s copyright, trademark protections, and license restrictions.
You are responsible for reviewing results before using or sharing them, including checking accuracy, required attribution, rights notices, and restrictions on distribution.
6. No rights clearance or legal determination
PotentELL does not verify ownership, obtain permissions on your behalf, or determine whether a particular use qualifies as fair use or another legal exception. Availability of a feature or successful processing of a file does not establish that your use is authorized.
If you are uncertain about your rights, obtain permission from the rights holder or seek qualified legal advice before proceeding.

Availability and changes
PotentELL may change features, workflows, and access patterns over time as the product evolves.
Updates
These terms may be updated as the platform develops. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
