Order the Water Cycle
Start with water, move it up (evaporation), cool it (condensation), drop it (precipitation), move it on land (runoff), soak it in (infiltration), store it (aquifer), and repeat the hydrologic cycle.
Reading
Water moves, changes, and collects on Earth. Warmth causes evaporation. Cooling makes condensation. Water falls as precipitation. Some flows as runoff. Some soaks in (infiltration) to the ground and aquifers. The hydrologic cycle repeats over and over.
Tip: Use the verbs move, change, collect to decide what happens earlier vs. later.
