Order the Atmosphere

Start at the ground (troposphere) and move up to space (exosphere). Pauses mark the tops of layers.

Reading

Weather happens in the troposphere, the lowest layer. The tropopause is its top. Above is the stratosphere, then the stratopause. Next comes the mesosphere and mesopause. Higher is the hot thermosphere, and the exosphere fades into space.

Tip: Layer → pause (top) → next layer.

1.Mesosphere
2.Troposphere
3.Thermosphere
4.Tropopause
5.Mesopause
6.Stratosphere
7.Stratopause
8.Exosphere
